Naomi Louise Harm Named VIP of the Year of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Instructional Technology

BROWNVILLE, MN, January 30, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Naomi Louise Harm, Chief Executive Officer of Innovative Educator Consulting, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.
As the CEO of Innovative Educator Consulting, a position that she has held for three years, Ms. Harm consults with school districts around the nation providing technology leadership, best practice solutions and online training. She prepares students to relate to the world. Ms. Harm has seven years of classroom experience and another seven as a technology director. She has always supported educational processes, and has spent the last three years as the owner of an education technology consulting company; she has also spent this time working for Intel Education as a National Senior Technology Trainer. As a 21st century educational technology literacy specialist, she is enthusiastic and welcomes every opportunity to share her expertise and best practices relating to technology initiatives. She attributes her success to her work ethic, being passionate about what she does and the strong support of her husband and three sons. She became involved in her educational technology career to make a substantial impact in the field of education representing women as effective role models and educational leaders. She is the first of five children to hold a master's degree in her family, and she has always felt called to serve as a role model. She is passionate about working with students and adult learners, and finding the right instructional technology tools to assist each learner's individual needs and learning outcomes to be successful.
Ms. Harm received a Master of Education in professional development with a concentration in Educational Technology in 2003, having received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Viterbo University in 1999. In addition to her formal education, she was licensed practicing nurse. She is a member of ISTE, ASCD, and Intel Education. In 2010, she was honored with a National Inspiring Education Award, and was recently nominated for a National Lifetime Achievement Award from Edublogs. In years to come, Ms. Harm hopes to expand her work and network with leaders around the world. She aims to establish a global presence in several different countries.
