Amazing Kids! Healthy Kids Recipe Contest Kicks Off: Winners to be Featured in First-Ever Healthy Kids e-Cookbook by Kids
Amazing Kids! announces its first-ever Healthy Kids recipe contest sponsored by kids' cooking show Cook Time with Remmi.

SEATTLE, WA, September 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amazing Kids! (amazing-kids.org) announced today that recipes are now being accepted for their new Amazing Kids! Healthy Kids Recipe Contest. Kids and teens, ages 6-17, may submit up to two recipes from one of five meal categories, each within a 600-word limit. Up to three winning recipes will be chosen from each of six age categories and will be featured in the first-ever healthy kids' recipes e-cookbook written by and for kids. Each winner will receive a copy of the Amazing Kids! Healthy Kids e-Cookbook, and six Grand Prize winners will be randomly selected to win a Cook Time with Remmi Star Membership package. Entries should be submitted to contests@amazing-kids.org no later than November 15, 2010. The contest sponsor is Cook Time With Remmi, a kids' cooking show hosted by Amazing Kid! Remmi Smith, who also heads up the Amazing Kids! Cook Nook column in the kid-created Amazing Kids! Online Magazine. Remmi was recently selected as a winner of the 2nd Annual Amazing Kids! Launch My Dream! T-Shirt Design Contest. Remmi's winning dream is "Healthy Kids", and her new C.H.E.F (Cook Healthy, Exercise Frequently) challenge encourages kids of all ages to lead healthy lifestyles. Beginning this October, Amazing Kids! will be selling Remmi's winning Launch My Dream! "Be a C.H.E.F." t-shirt and apron, in both kids and adult sizes, on their soon-to-be launched e-store on Zazzle.com. Proceeds will benefit juvenile diabetes research and the Amazing Kids! Launch My Dream! initiative.
