YONKERS, NY, June 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- FASHION CAMP NYC, the leading fashion business summer camp, will host its second live FashiONLINE video chat, "There's No Biz Like Shoe Biz" June 15th at 7:00 pm (EST). According to NPD Group, there truly is no business quite like the shoe business: fashion footwear was a $32.3 billion industry in 2009. This FashiONLINE session will feature fashion footwear luminaries providing out-of- the (shoe) box thinking on everything from design to trends to marketing, while teens across the world watch and learn from their home computers at no cost. Online learning is proving to be an effective alternative to face-to-face learning according to a 2009 U.S. Department of Education study and Fashion Camp NYC, based in Manhattan, kicked off FashiONLINE with a recent video chat hosted by Teen Vogue.
