Science Education Company Quadruples Its Size - Hands-On Labs, Inc., Producers of LabPaqs, Expands Business by Moving to New Facility
Hands-On Labs, Inc., producers of LabPaqs, has more than quadrupled its size, moving to a 28,500 sq. ft. facility. LabPaqs are science materials for students to do experiments outside of a campus lab. Growth is related to the growing distance learning market and an alliance with McGraw-Hill.

ENGLEWOOD, CO, May 13, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hands-On Labs, Inc. has more than quadrupled its facility size. The company recently relocated to a 28,500 square foot headquarters located at 3880 South Windermere Street in Englewood, Colorado. Hands-On Labs, Inc. (HOL) is a science education company that produces LabPaqs. These unique academically aligned collections of science materials for higher education allow students around the globe to perform course specific genuine "wet lab" science experiments at their convenience - inside or outside of a formal laboratory.

The move is a result of the continued dramatic growth of LabPaq sales in conjunction with the growing distance learning market and the government's education objectives. Part of the growth has been stimulated by a recent strategic alliance with McGraw-Hill Higher Education that allows the publishing company's science curricula to be combined with LabPaqs to create a specialized LabPaq product package. Business arrangements are in development with other major publishers of college level science textbooks and Web 2.0 delivery systems.

The expanded space will allow for development of additional LabPaq science experiments to complement the 200+ currently available. Educator meetings, non-profit science instructor workshops and small conferences are also planned for the new facility.

As a "green" company, HOL specifically sought out a location in line with its environmentally friendly products and philosophy. The new facility is less than two blocks from a light rail station.
